The garage is semi heated, and never gets below about 30 degrees F. Clean and wax finish Hose underneath, and scrub down parts with detergent Clean and polish underneath using an oil coated rag, Change oil, check all fluids and lubes Drain and replace antifreeze (about 1/3 of system comes out, so after three years...) Use a car cover keep the gas tank filled so condensation does not form inside tank I installed a quick disconnect on my battery, but leave it in the car I keep the windows down just a half inch so interior can 'breathe' For very long term storage you can also: Raise the tires, like support them off the ground, to avoid 'flat spots' Pull plugs and add tsp oil to cylinder, then turn over engine a few times Watch out for mice and chipmunks. They like to set up nest in engines and interiors. Mice will eat insulation off wires to make their nests About every four to six weeks. I start the car. Whenever I do this, however I run the engine for at least 20-30 minutes. If it is nice out, I always drive it...it is always better to drive than just idle. More systems are getting a workout. I never just start it for a few minutes, that does more harm than good...(water vapor builds up in exhaust and causes corrosion) Good luck- Gordo
